Thursday Thirteen 10/28/2010

The last two weeks have been rough and I REALLY need a break from reality.  Usually, the only "break" I get is a workout, whether it's a run, some circuit training or intervals OR watching the Grey's episode off our DVR because there's no way I can watch it when it's actually on.  But even both those things are interrupted by the constant bickering of my kids or the continuous "Mommy!  Mommy!" by my daughter (She's calling me to blow me kisses.  Cute I know, but not so much when I'm trying to get my workout on!)  GOOD GRIEF!  On with it:

1.  My daughter and I made Pumpkin Muffins.  She was so helpful.  I wish I had pictures of her helping but I had to do quality control and couldn't hold the camera at the same time.  Besides, I was sick and just wanted to get them baked!  I will tell you that she wanted to add lemons to the batter.  Two whole lemons.  Anyway, the muffins were melt-in-your mouth delicious.  They came out very light in texture, similar to a Goldilocks Mamon.  They weren't too sweet and had the perfect taste of pumpkin without being overwhelming.  Look!
